The Provincial Benevolent Fund Board provides educational scholarships to children of government employees in Punjab who are currently employed or retired, deceased, or disabled.
There is a maximum number of applicants. The Punjab Government will only accept applications from students who have passed the matric or higher-class examination with at least 60% and are currently enrolled in the following classes of government serving and retired employees. When the child attends a school that is recognized for providing special education, the maximum number of candidates is increased to three.
Punjab Benevolent Fund Scholarships 2023 for Punjab Students
Three children have applied for the scholarship to study in 2023 for retired government employees who are disabled or decedents. Children of deceased government employees may apply for primary and matriculation classes.
If both parents work in or for the Punjab Government, all of their children are eligible to apply for Educational Scholarships 2023, but they must do so separately. The amount listed below is for the children of non-gazetted and gazetted federal employees. Scholarships are available to students enrolled in any Inter, BA, BS MA MSc, or BA MSc classes. Applications for Punjab Government Servants Benevolent Fund scholarships are open from January 1st, 2023 to March 31st, 2023.
BFMS Scholarship for Punjab Students 2023
Non-Gazetted (BPS 1 To 15) (BPS 1 To 15)
- From Primary to Matric (Scholarship Rs 1500)
- FA/BA and comparable (Scholarship at Rs.6,000)
- M.A. and equivalent/BDS/MBBS/B.Sc (Eng)/DVM/B.Sc (Hon)/Agri/B. Pharmacy/M.Phil/Ph.D, and so on (Scholarship Rs 8,000)
Gazetted (BPS 16 To 22) (BPS 16 To 22)
- From Primary to Matric (Scholarship Rs 10,000)
- A/B or comparable (Scholarship at 28,000 Rs)
- M.A. and equivalent/BDS/MBBS/B.Sc (Eng)/DVM/B.Sc (Hon)/Agri/B. Pharmacy/M.Phil/Ph.D, and so on (Scholarship Rs 32,000)
Application Eligibility
- The scholarship will be awarded to up to two children who have completed matriculation or higher with at least 60% and are currently enrolled in the next grade level.
- If another child is enrolled in a special education program at an accredited institution, an application for the third child can be made.
- Three children can be awarded a scholarship for retired or deceased government employees who are disabled.
- Children of deceased government employees are eligible for the scholarship beginning with the matric class.

All government employees must submit an application in the prescribed format, which must be attested by the department’s director. The department head must forward applications to the appropriate office.

To be included in the application form, the following documents must be submitted.
- Copy of the students’ CNIC/B-form
- The parents’ copies of their CNIC.
- Payslip computerized copy 2022 or 2023 for active employees, or an attested duplicate or the retirement book PPO for retired employees.
- Copy of the university or board results card (result cards downloaded from the internet will not be accepted) with a minimum of 60 marks.
- No subject may be filed by the candidate.
