Applications are invited from eligible persons (Male & Female) domiciled in Punjab for the following post for recruitment on a contract basis under the development project “Establishment of Centre of Excellence for olive Research and Training (CEFORT) at Barani Agriculture Research Institute Chakwal”.
Position: Agronomist / Deputy Project Director
No. of Post: One (01)
Lump-Sum Pay: Rs. 150,000/- per month
Age: 55 years
Qualification: Master’s degree in Agriculture (Agronomy) from a recognized University or Institution.
– Seven (07) years experience in Agriculture research.
Preference shall be given to candidates with:-
– Previous work experience in olive R&D.
– Possess good communication skills and knowledge/use of the internet, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel. Proficiency in English and Urdu (Oral and Written)
1 Relaxation in the upper age limit is not admissible.
2 In case of other relevant degrees. the equivalence certificate issued by the HEC will be provided by the candidate.
3 The contract appointment is temporary in nature. non-transferable, job / post-specific. non-pensionable & conferring no right for regularization. The contract appointment will be initially for (01) year, which can be extended or reduced up to the project period with the approval of the competent authority.
4 In case the project period is reduced/enhanced, the contract appointment order may be amended accordingly with the approval of the competent authority.
5 Retired persons are not eligible.
6 The recruitments will be made strictly on merit on all Punjab basis following the rules, selection criteria, and other provisions of Recruitment Policy and Contract Appointment Policy, 2004.

9 List of eligible candidates shall be displayed on the Notice Board 03 days before the interview in addition to the interview call letters. 10 List of successful candidates shall be displayed on the Notice Board in addition to the issuance of offer of appointment letters after approval of the recommendations of the Department Selection Committee, by the competent authority.
11 The competent authority has the right to increase or decrease the number of posts.
