Navy Short Service Commission 2023

Pak Navy Short Service Commission Eligibility Criteria

SSG (N) & Marines’ Surface Operations Branch
Only male Pakistani citizens who are 26 years old by July 1, 2024, and have a height of 5′ feet 4′′ Inches are eligible to apply for the Navy’s marine branch. For this branch, you must have a bachelor’s degree with at least 60% honors from a HEC-accredited university and an FS.c / A-Level/ equivalent in Physics and Maths.
Candidates will be promoted to the rank of Ag Sub Lieutenant after completing training.
IT Special Branch
To enroll in the IT Specialist Special Branch By July 1, 2024, males must be 28 years old (extendable to 31 years for experienced candidates) and 5′ 4′′ tall. A BIT/BSE/BE/BCS/MIT/MCS in Computer Engineering with 60 percent marks and a CGPA of 2.5 out of 4.0 from an HEC-approved university is required for Navy IT positions.
Medical Branch-Specialist
Male and female Pakistani nationals with a maximum age of 40 years and a height of 5 feet and 4 inches for males and 5 feet and 4 inches for females are eligible to apply for Navy medical jobs till July 1, 2024.
MBBS with FRCA/FRCS/FCPS/MCPS/MD/MS from an American Board or equivalent in Special Disciplines from Pakistan, as well as a Foreign Medical College that must be accredited.
Branch of Supply
Male Pakistani citizens with a minimum age of 26 years and a height of 5 feet 4 inches are eligible to apply for the supply branch of the Pakistan Navy till July 1, 2024. MBA/BBA (Hons)/M.Com or MSc Economics with at least 60 percent marks / 2.5 CGPA or higher from HEC accredited colleges are required to apply for the Navy supply corps.
Branch of Marine Engineering
Citizens with a maximum age of 27 years, a height of 5 feet 4 inches, and a BE Mechanical degree from a HEC accredited university with a minimum of 70% marks or a 2.5 CGPA are eligible to apply for marine engineering in the Pakistan Navy.
Branch of Weapons Engineering
Only male Pakistani citizens between the ages of 22 and 26, with a height of 5 feet and 4 inches and a BE Electrical degree from a HEC accredited university with a least 60% mark / CGPA of 2.5 or above, are eligible to apply for weapon engineering in the Pakistan Navy.
Candidates will be promoted to the rank of Ag Sub Lieutenant after completing training.
Education Branch of the Navy
To apply for the Navy education branch, Pakistani male nationals must be 26 years old by July 1, 2024, and have a height of 5 feet 4 inches. MA/MS.c/MCS/BS (04-year programme) with 1st Division/B-Grade and B.A.
Mathematics, computer science, physics, Islamic studies, Pakistan studies, English, and library science are among the courses that Ed students prefer. Candidates will be elevated to the rank of Ag Lieutenant once they have completed their training.
Medical Branch – GDMOS
Male and female Pakistani residents aged 22-26 years and up till July 1, 2024, who is 5 feet 4 inches tall and have an MBBS/BDS degree are eligible to apply for Navy medical positions.
How to Apply Join Pak Navy 2023:
The following are the requirements for applying for a job in the Pakistan Navy:
- Interested applicants can register on the website from November 26 until December 10, 2023.
- Direct applications to the Recruitment Director at Naval Headquarters would be refused.
- The registration deadline is December 10, 2023.
- The admission exam date will be provided via SMS by the appropriate PNR and SC whenever the COVID-19 Pandemic situation improves.
- The results of the admission exam can be found on the Navy’s official website.
- Following the Entrance Test, a Preliminary Test will be held, and those who pass the Entrance Test and a number of tests, including the Preliminary/Medical Interview, which will be held on respective PNR & SC, will be granted applications, and these tests will contribute to final selection.

Join Pak Navy Short Service Commission 2023-B
After passing the preliminary screening phase, shortlisted candidates will be contacted for a preliminary medical and interview. The medical examination will take place at the nearest CMH/ PNS Shifa, and the interview will be conducted by the PN Selection Board. Following the completion of this procedure, Naval Headquarters will make the final decision on candidates based entirely on merit.
