Recruitment will be based on the following provincial quotas.
1. Merit 7.5%
2. Punjab including Federal Area Islamabad 50%
3. Sindh (Urban) 7.6%
4. Sindh (Rural) 11.4%
5. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 11.5%
6. Balochistan 6%
7. (Old FATA) Newly joined districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 3%
8. Gilgit-Baltistan 1%
9. Azad Kashmir 2%
10. Please Note. Minority quota is 5%
The recruitment criteria in Pakistan Rangers (Punjab) are as follows.
Educational standards for civil candidates
Soldier General Duty will be preferred to at least middle and highly educated.
Age for Civil Candidates till 09 August 2023
Candidates below 18 years of age and above 30 years of age will not be recruited.
(The age includes a 5-year concession given by the government.)

Educational Standards: Existing Qualifications or equivalent

Soldier: According to the prevailing laws
Physical criteria for civil candidates
Those who are at least 5.6 feet tall and taller will be given preference in the final selection.
Breasts 33 inches spread by 1.5 inches
Weight at least 121 pounds would not be more acceptable under medical law.

How to apply
The aspirants will register themselves online on the Rangers website www.pakistanrangerspunjab.com from 04th October to 13th October 2023 and after registration, the candidates will have to register on the online slip at their chosen registration center from the following locations at 8 am Medical examinations and physical tests will be present.

Method of selection
1. Online registration
2. Initial medical examination
3. Written and physical tests
4. Interview / Final Selection
Training: The final selected candidates will have to undergo basic training at Pakistan Rangers Academy Mandi Bahauddin.
Important Note:
1. When visiting the recruitment center, bring the online registration slip with you and submit it to the relevant center.
2. If the aspirants meet the above criteria, then 2 original postal envelopes along with 2 photographs and other additional certificates of competency along with 2 postal envelopes on which the candidate’s full home address, phone number, and post Enter the name and attend the selection center as per the above schedule.
3. If any candidate’s educational credentials are found to be fake/bogus, legal action will be taken against him.
4. Bring PT shows with you for physical tests.
5. Recruitment in Rangers is based on merit. The final selection is vested in the Director-General of Pakistan Rangers Punjab. Therefore, no Rangers employee or civilian person should be contacted in this regard.
