The Pakistan Army’s regular commission is the PMA long course. Twice a year, the PMA long course is announced. Twice a year, in the months of March and October. The October course is referred to as an odd course, while the March course is referred to as an even course. You need to apply for PMA L/C with a minimum inter/DEA/O level qualification to join the Pak Army through the 153 PMA Long Course.
The Pakistan Military Academy requires two years to train candidates for PMA LC 153. There are six periods in these two years. During their training, PMA 153 cadets pursue a BMAS (Bachelor of Military Art and Science). Cadets receive the rank of second lieutenant after completing their training.
